Your collection. Clear terms.

Service terms updated September 29, 2026. Review your collection-specific proposal before accepting or shipping.

Your accepted proposal stays on record

You retain ownership until sale. Review the inspected inventory, lot composition, channels and minimum prices before listing. Any material change requires renewed approval. The fee schedule you accept cannot be changed retroactively.

What you receive

The selling fee is 20% of the first $500 of each item or approved lot, 15% of the next $2,000, and 10% above $2,500. A $500 sale leaves $400; $1,000 leaves $825; $5,000 leaves $4,350. Sales tax and buyer shipping are outside the item-price base.

Ordinary marketplace/payment fees, photographs, listings, buyer support, standard packing and fulfillment are included. Ordinary cost overruns reduce our margin. Optional promotion is a separate choice: an additional 5% of item sale price only when eBay assesses a General advertising fee. It covers advertising at a 3% General campaign rate and management, not a 5% ad budget. No sale-speed or payout guarantee. Item refunds reduce this fee; full item or General ad-fee reversals remove it. Other optional costs need a separate quote and approval.

Eligible games and shipping costs

Board games must be factory-sealed or opened but complete. Include the title, edition, seal status, component completeness and box condition; incomplete games are not accepted.

You pay shipping to Mr. Mom and prepay return shipping and agreed coverage for unsold items, unless we agree to an exception in writing before shipment. We confirm packing, carrier and costs before you ship. Collections estimated above $1,000 are reviewed for an inbound-shipping waiver; any approved waiver must be stated in your proposal.

Unsold items and price decisions

Eight-week selling cycle: reduce the asking price by 5% on days 14, 28 and 42, compounded from the original price and never below your approved minimum. At day 56 choose one mutually agreed eight-week renewal at a reevaluated market price, prepaid return, or discuss a separate buyout. No automatic renewal or disposal. You may request return of unsold items once active listings and buyer commitments are resolved. Return shipping and agreed coverage are prepaid; target dispatch is five business days after payment, verified address and cleared buyer commitments. A buyout is a separate disclosed purchase with no additional selling or promotion fee, completed only after acceptance and verified payment. The selling clock starts on the actual live listing date. Reminders are prepared at weeks six and seven; marketplace changes are performed and verified by the owner. No commission on unsold items; no automatic donation, disposal or forfeiture.

Refunds and payments

Item refunds reduce proceeds and reverse the corresponding selling fee. Shipping refunds, fee credits and ordinary return costs affect our margin. Earlier statements stay unchanged. Undisputed eligible proceeds can be paid without waiting for the whole collection. No automatic bank debit. Any later recovery requires notice, evidence and a documented resolution.

Care and responsibility

Receive an itemized custody record and resolve discrepancies before listing. Before a real shipment, agree receiving details, transit and custody responsibility, values, actual insurance coverage and exclusions, claims and return arrangements. Claims for loss or damage in transit go through the delivery service, subject to the coverage purchased, exclusions and claim requirements. Carrier transit coverage does not establish storage coverage; we do not promise separate storage insurance. Any sale to Mr. Mom or a related party requires separate disclosure and approval.

Your records and contact

Your collector account retains agreements, inventory, sales, adjustments and statements. Transactional notices do not sign you up for marketing. We process eligible, undisputed payouts on Mondays after settlement, delivery and the standard 14-day delivery hold. Your payment provider determines when funds arrive. Contact heymrmom@gmail.com for questions or disputes. We retain agreement, custody and financial records to administer the service and resolve claims. Contact us about record access or deletion; outstanding obligations and applicable recordkeeping duties may require retention.
